The process of relocating Venezuelan immigrants continues in Boa Vista (RR). A total of 130 people have been sent to shelters in Cuiabá (MT), Brasília (DF), São Paulo (SP), and Rio de Janeiro (RJ). They were transported by a plane from the Brazilian Air Force (FAB).
Since April, around 690 Venezuelans have gone through this
process.
The measure ensures that applicants for refuge or residency receive regularization in the country (provision of CPF and work permit), as well as medical examinations and vaccinations. In the new shelters, they have access to health care, education for children, Portuguese language teaching, and professional training.
In the first relocation process, conducted between April and July, of the 690 Venezuelans taken to other cities, 267 went to São Paulo (SP), 165 to Manaus (AM), 95 to Cuiabá, 69 to Igarassu (PE), 44 to Conde (PB), and 50 to Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
