Donald Trump took office as President of the United States on the last day of the 20th with a list of actions to implement right in the first 100 days of his presidency.
A summary of his proposals follows:
• Propose a Constitutional Amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress;
• Freeze the hiring of federal employees to reduce the federal workforce (military exemption, public safety, and public health);
• Impose a requirement that for every new federal regulation, two existing regulations must be eliminated;
• Prohibit White House and Congressional officials from becoming lobbyists for 5 years after leaving government service;
• Prohibit White House officials from lobbying on behalf of a foreign government;
• Prohibit foreign lobbyists from raising money for American elections;
• Renegotiate NAFTA or withdraw from the agreement;
• Withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership;
• Instruct the Secretary of the Treasury to designate China as a currency-manipulating country;
• Instruct the Secretary of Commerce and the U.S. Trade Representative to identify all foreign trade abuses that unfairly impact American workers and direct them to use all tools of American and international law to end these abuses immediately;
• Suspend restrictions on the production of $50 trillion worth of work related to American energy reserves, including shale, oil, natural gas, and clean coal;
• Lift the Obama-Clinton blockades and allow vital energy infrastructure projects, such as the Keystone Pipeline, to proceed;
• Cancel billions in payments to UN climate change programs and use the money to invest in infrastructure in the country.
• Cancel every unconstitutional executive action, memorandum, and executive order issued by President Obama;
• Begin the process of selecting a replacement for Justice Scalia, who will uphold the Constitution of the United States;
• Cancel all federal funds sent to Sanctuary Cities;
• Start removing over 2 million illegal criminal immigrants from the country and cancel visas from foreign countries that do not accept them back.
• Suspend immigration from regions prone to terrorism.
