The Federal Data Processing Service (Serpro), the largest public company in Brazil in the field of Information Technology services, has developed an app that facilitates the organization and management of events.
The Serpro Check-in was initially aimed only at public managers, but Serpro concluded that the tool is useful not only for the government but for any citizen. Now, the app is available for download on devices with Android or iOS operating systems.
The app works like this: the person responsible for attendance control at the event downloads it on their device and enters the meeting, lecture, etc. data into the app. The tool, in turn, generates a specific QR Code for that situation. On the day of the event, participants only need to scan the code on their own devices, without the need to download the app.
Participants also have the option to share contact information with the organizer. According to Serpro, new features will soon be added, such as sending notifications and integration with personal calendars.
Useful Apps
The Federal Government, through Serpro, has already developed other useful apps for citizens. They are available for free in app stores and can be downloaded by anyone, offering benefits that save time and money. Here are some: SNE Denatran, MEI, Digital Traffic Wallet.
