Drivers from Goiás will be the first Brazilians to use the Digital Driver’s License (CNH-e). Now, they will be able to enjoy the convenience of having the document in an electronic format, which can be accessed via mobile phone and eliminates the need to present the physical document. “Today we are taking another fundamental step. Brazil has already innovated before with the electronic voting machine. With the digital CNH, the government is showcasing its vision of technology as a tool for inclusion,” said Minister Bruno Araújo (photo).
The expectation is that by February next year, the technology will be available throughout the country via an application.
