Tati Vitsic – a carioca artist and designer residing in NYC – will participate in FIGMENT NYC 2019. The art festival will take place on the weekend of June 1 and 2 at Lighthouse Park on Roosevelt Island, New York.
The project by Tati Vitsic (photo) – “DIY FIGMENT Postcard” – is an interactive activity for adults and children, where they can create postcards using stamps with designs made by Tati, collage, and different drawing materials. People will be able to have their photos taken and printed to customize the postcards and even turn them into magnets.
FIGMENT NYC is a free, nonprofit event entirely run by volunteers, taking place outdoors with the participation of over 100 projects. This will be the festival’s first time on Roosevelt Island, as it was previously held annually on Governors Island, where it attracted thousands of visitors.
The Interactive Art Festival will take place on June 1 and 2, from 10 AM to 6 PM. The event will be held at Lighthouse Park, Roosevelt Island.
