The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) has released a Health Assessment of Hemotherapy Services. The survey found that 90% of the services provided by blood banks in the country are in a situation considered satisfactory, that is, between low and medium potential risk.
The document released by the agency also concludes that, between 2011 and 2015, there was a reduction in the percentage of establishments categorized as medium, medium-high, and high potential risk.
The disclosure of this data aims to improve communication between entities of the National Health Surveillance System (SNVS), hemotherapy services, and society in general.
This information can serve as a basis for formulating strategies and public policies, as well as providing support for the construction of indicators for monitoring the safety and quality of the services and products offered.
