Joana Knobbe and poet Pedro Bomba joined forces in their arts and materialized the result in the launch of Loop Discos, the single Amor Coragem.
He is a poet, she is a musician. The two artists met and began to follow each other’s work online. “I discovered the poem Amor Coragem in 2015, I fell in love with the text and the expressive power of the poet,” Joana recounts. “One day he invited me to set one of his poems to music. When he told me it was this poem, I felt the weight of the responsibility to compose music for a text that many people already loved” – available on SoundCloud, it has nearly 50,000 plays.
The first notes of the song emerged during an Immersion in Recife. The song is the third single released by Loop in São Paulo, with musical production by Talita del Colado and vocals by Marissol Mwaba. The final result is a contemporary experimental sound that takes you by the hand and leads you to stroll through rhythms and sensory experiences.
