Gisele Bündchen and BrazilFoundation Announce Support for Organizations Working to Preserve Brazilian Biomes

Aligned with the UN’s call for the Decade of Ecosystem Restoration, the Luz Alliance Fund, led by model and philanthropist Gisele Bündchen, in partnership with BrazilFoundation, will support civil society organizations working towards the restoration and preservation of different ecosystems for the benefit of people and nature. Brazil has the highest biodiversity on the planet, and each of its biomes hosts a wide variety of vegetation and fauna.

With support for these organizations, the aim is to provide financial and technical assistance for project execution, as well as to spread a message of awareness about the importance of maintaining ecosystems in balance, preserving our natural resources and biodiversity, both for our generation and for those to come.

The restoration of ecosystems improves people’s quality of life, brings economic benefits, and is essential for helping to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals that impact society as a whole.

The organizations selected in this partnership contribute to biodiversity conservation through the protection and restoration of ecosystems, species, and springs, as well as promoting more sustainable livelihoods.
