For Efí’s CRM manager, Alexandre Santana, despite what some analysts believe, ChatGPT will not replace professionals but will make processes more fluid, objective, and modular, thus reducing potential manual errors. “In our tests, the intelligent use of AIs allowed us to perform tasks in minutes that would otherwise take hours. I have no doubt that the ability to use these tools will be a requirement, especially as this technology evolves,” he says.Less operational, more strategic
Since implementing its reduced workweek for nearly 400 employees, aiming for a better work-life balance, Efí has placed even more value on task optimization. Using ChatGPT to generate code and for routine tasks, such as drafting emails and creating project scopes, complements other initiatives, like reducing meetings, to make day-to-day operations more strategic.
With the use of ChatGPT, developers gain extra time to work on more sophisticated tasks and leave the creation of smaller and more basic codes to the tool. In any case, caution is needed with the generated codes, warns software engineer Leony Assis. “It is important to review the codes to ensure 100% accuracy. Therefore, the objective of the software in development, as well as the technologies involved, must be fully understood.”
Efí concluded that AI can even be used to generate ideas from user feedback, providing a better understanding of what they need, and identifying the best components and structures in the system architecture phase.
