Brazilian Consulate in Miami Changes Service Hours

The Consulate-General in Miami will now serve the public exclusively by appointment. This new rule will apply to all consular services provided (including passports, registrations, notarial acts, powers of attorney, military and electoral documents, and visas). Service will be refused to those who have not scheduled in advance.The service hours at the Consulate-General have also been extended: Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 2 PM.

The schedule for booking dates will always be open for the following 30 days.

To complete the appointment, the user must fill in: name, phone number, and a valid email address.

Attention: it is important that the contact information is provided correctly, as the appointment confirmation will be sent via email.

The appointment will be non-transferable and valid only for the citizen indicated in the appointment form. Services for individuals not registered in the appointment will not be processed. The consular document requested must bear the same name provided in the appointment.

Exclusively for passports, it will be possible to schedule for the holder and family members. In the appointment form, the names of all applicants, their relationship, and the documents to be requested must be listed.

The applicant must arrive at the Consulate-General at least 15 (fifteen) minutes before the scheduled time. Delays will not be tolerated. If unable to attend at the scheduled time, the applicant may reschedule the appointment with up to 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations can be made up to 2 hours in advance.

It is essential to check the Consulate-General’s website for the list of required documents for each of the requested services. Users who do not present the complete documentation required for each service or payment with a U.S. postal money order will not be attended.
