The American Secretary of State Rex Tillerson met with Brazil’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Aloysio Nunes Ferreira. Secretary Tillerson and Minister Nunes emphasized the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and the importance of the partnership between the United States and Brazil. The Secretary thanked his Brazilian counterpart for the support of the Brazilian government on various topics, including our commitment to promote economic growth, investment, and job creation in both countries.
The two leaders also discussed cooperation on law enforcement issues, regional and global security, including the situation in Venezuela.
