FAO Schwarz organized a charity benefit for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. With the mission of integrating fashion and compassion, KTM’s events partnered with Heritage India Fashions designer Prashant Goyal and models from around the world, including five models and a Brazilian makeup artist who were part of the designer’s team to produce a diverse runway show featuring high fashion Indian designs.
The show, presented by Hollywood celebrity Jennifer Murphy and European royalty, H.H. Dr. Prince Mario-Max of Schaumburg Lippe, showcased Prashant Goyal as a fashion icon, a prominent business leader, with a colorful selection of sarees and kurtas. Intricate details were presented in vibrant hues and paired with rich jewel tones.
Prashant Goyal has an extensive team in India to help him bring these beautiful designs to life, and over the past 25 years, he has collected unique and exclusive fabrics—all featuring truly one-of-a-kind designs for his brand. Prashant and his wife Ruchi, who is
the designer of his brand, have an excellent eye for colors and textures, creating a collection that enhances each client’s personality and skin tone. Together, they have created an extensive list for Hollywood and Bollywood stars, in bright-colored attire that can be seen on television shows such as Madam Secretary, House of Cards, and Quantico. Prashant created additional pieces for Disney’s production in the film Eat, Pray & Love, starring Julia Roberts. He has also designed for various governments and officials, including an anarkali dress for Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney.
