Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, Kaká was born in Brasília on April 22, 1982. The nickname Kaká was given by the player’s brother, Rodrigo, who could not pronounce the name Ricardo.

Kaká made his professional debut in 2001 against the Rio de Janeiro team Botafogo.

In 2008, Kaká signed an extension with the Italian team and became the highest-paid football player in the world. With Milan, he won an Italian Championship, a Champions League, an Italian Supercup, and a Club World Cup.
As his original club was facing financial difficulties, in 2008 he had to move to Real Madrid. Only in 2013 did Kaká return to Milan.
