The second music video from Sol, Lua, Sol, a DVD by Bahian singer-songwriter Saulo, is now available: the performance of “Chega Devagar” has been released on the artist’s official YouTube channel.
“Sol, Lua, Sol” is a new show recorded in São Paulo, directed by Chico Kertész and featuring appearances by Xanddy and Ana Gabriela. Blending tracks from the artist’s third solo album, “O Azul e o Sol,” with new interpretations and previously unreleased songs, it will be the third video recording of
Saulo’s career. The show brings together songs about the sun, the moon and the passing hours, focusing on the passage of time and creating, through sound and visuals, the sensation of a day unfolding — from sunrise to late afternoon, nightfall, the early morning hours and a new dawn.
Described as an axé-merengue, “Terra Nossa” is a composition by Saulo himself about the arrival of February in Bahia and Carnival.
As the artist himself describes it, “Sol, Lua, Sol” is more than a show: it is a journey, a joyful, vibrant performance full of the energy of Bahia’s Carnival without losing its poetry, messages and subtleties.
