Zac Efron, (1987) is an American singer and actor. He gained notoriety for his role in the series “High School Musical”.
Zachary David Alexander Efron (1987) was born in San Luis Obispo, California, United States, on October 18, 1987. He spent his childhood near the city of Arroyo Grande. In his teenage years, he performed in plays such as “Gypsy” and “Peter Pan”. He participated in television series: “The Guardian”, “ER”, and “Firefly”. He acted in the series “Summerland”, but it was in the show “Cameron Bale” that he landed a regular role.
One of Zac Efron’s biggest roles was in “High School Musical”, where he starred in the first film of the series, which was a huge success among children and teenagers. Two sequels were released: “High School Musical 2” and “High School Musical 3 – Senior Year”. The series was very popular between 2006 and 2008.
Zac Efron made some controversial statements in Rolling Stone magazine when he said that his voice was not on the songs of the High School Musical series because he had a baritone voice, which did not fit the songs of the series. However, in the films Hairspray, High School Musical 2, and High School Musical 3, you can hear his real voice.
After the series, Zac Efron starred in the films: “Me and Orson Welles” (2008), “17 Again” (2009), “Charlie St. Cloud” (2010), and “The Lucky One” (2012).
