The Bronze Bull of Wall Street

The Charging Bull is the largest symbol of power of the stock market on Wall Street in New York, being one of the most visited free attractions by tourists.

The sculpture envisioned by Arturo di Modica is located in Bowling Green Park, near Wall Street in the Financial District, and is the symbol of the American financial market.

The bull represents a rise in stock prices for investors.
The popular legend is that rubbing its horn, snout, or testicles represents luck, prosperity, and money.

Perhaps that’s why there are often huge lines to take photos and capture the moment with the three-ton bronze giant, along with many funny scenes of tourists crouching to hold the bull’s testicles.

If you want to learn a bit more about the history, visit the official website: www.chargingbull.com (site in English).

On the site, you can also see a live camera of the Charging Bull.

When visiting the Financial District, include a stop to capture the moment and see the famous bull of Wall Street. It’s worth it!
