The Ministry of Infrastructure published the Public Call for Studies for the sixth round of airport concessions, including three blocks: South, North, and Central. The public call is aimed at companies and consortia interested in preparing the Technical, Economic, and Environmental Feasibility Studies (EVTEA) for the 22 airports. The deadline to express interest is 30 days.
The qualified consortia must present projects, surveys, investigations, and technical studies to support the modeling of the concessions for the 22 airports. Additionally, companies will need to develop market, engineering, and environmental studies. It is also necessary to present an economic-financial assessment of each airport and a consolidated report for each block.
The South Block consists of nine airports: Curitiba, Foz do
Iguaçu, Londrina, and Bacacheri in Paraná; Navegantes and Joinville in Santa Catarina; and Pelotas, Uruguaiana, and Bagé in Rio Grande do Sul. In this scenario, the company that presents the best EVTEA may be reimbursed by the future concessionaire up to R$ 34.4 million.
The North Block is made up of Manaus, Tabatinga, and Tefé in Amazonas; Rio Branco and Cruzeiro do Sul in Acre; Porto Velho (RO) and Boa Vista (RR), totaling seven terminals. For this block, the maximum reimbursement amount for the best EVTEA is R$ 27.2 million, to be paid by the auction winner.
The six airports that make up the Central Block are: Goiânia (GO), Palmas (TO), Teresina (PI), Petrolina (PE), São Luís, and Imperatriz in Maranhão. The consortium that presents the best EVTEA for these terminals may be reimbursed up to R$ 25.3 million, also to be paid by the future operator.
The final deadline for the preparation and submission of projects and technical studies to the ministry will be 150 days for all three airport blocks, counted from the date of publication of the authorization term.
