Daya Luz is “Everything Good” – The Brasilians

Daya Luz is “Everything Good”

Daya Luz emerges as the new name in the Brazilian pop scene. It hasn’t been long since the music video for “Olha pra mim,” her first single, was released on YouTube. Currently, the video has over 1.3 million views.

The next chapter is a real-life fairy tale. Daya was at the Comic Con Experience, the largest “geek” event in the country, when she decided to get on stage to dance and compete with the two-time world champion and the runner-up of the game “Just Dance.” A fan of the game and a dancer, she ended up outshining the world runner-up and caught the attention of Ubisoft, the French giant in the gaming market, which invited her to promote the game in Brazil.

“Te dominar” is the name of the song written by Daya and produced by Ubisoft, which is part of the global soundtrack of the game and made the community of game users in Brazil and around the world dance to her music. She thus became the first Brazilian artist to have composed and produced a song together with the game’s producer, and her participation in the soundtrack places her alongside stars like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, and Beyoncé, some of the stars who have licensed songs for “Just Dance.”

Now she releases another single on radio and digital platforms: “Tudo de Bom” is the name of her new song, co-authored and produced by Misk, in partnership with Pedro Dash. Released on March 24 on digital platforms – Spotify, Deezer, iTunes, Google Play, and Apple Music – and on the 27th on radios across the country.

“It’s a song that expresses how having a feeling of love is everything good. It has attitude and sensuality, and its strong beats set a danceable rhythm. The music is a ‘Pop Trap’ that mixes organic instruments with an electronic base. It’s modern, a blend that characterizes my work well,” explains the singer.

Daya Luz was born in Americanópolis, São Paulo, 25 years ago, and began taking dance classes as a child. Since then, she has nurtured the dream of becoming an artist capable of uniting her different talents to present the public with a work full of strength and personality.

Her beauty and grace in dance led her to be invited to participate in the selection for the dance corps of “Domingão do Faustão,” where she worked for 2 years.

She decided to leave television to invest all her time in preparing her repertoire, dance classes, singing, language classes, instruments, therapy, and artistic preparation. The result of this work is gradually being revealed to the general public. Daya Luz is “Everything Good” and she is here to stay!
