Federal Police (PF) launched, on this Wednesday (8), in a joint operation with the civil police of 16 states, Operation National Integral Protection III. The objective is to identify suspects involved in sexual abuse crimes against children and adolescents committed, primarily, via the internet.
In a statement, the agency reported the simultaneous execution of 182 search and seizure warrants and 11 preventive arrest warrants nationwide. As of the last update, 19 in-flagrante arrests, two minor apprehensions, and one victim rescue had been recorded.
The operation involves 617 federal police officers and 273 civil police officers from the following states: Alagoas, Amazonas, Bahia, Ceará, Espirito Santo, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and São Paulo, in addition to the Federal District.
Integration
“The operation reinforces the integration between federal and state police forces and demonstrates the joint commitment to defending childhood and adolescence. Operation Integral Protection III continues the previous editions, launched in March and May 2025, highlighting the Federal Police’s permanent work in this combat front,” the PF stated.
Agency data indicate that between January and September this year, more than 1,630 arrest warrants for fugitives convicted of sexual crimes were executed.
“The Federal Police alerts parents and guardians to the importance of monitoring and guiding the internet use of children and adolescents, openly discussing risks and teaching how to respond to inappropriate contacts in virtual environments. Prevention and information are the most effective tools to ensure the safety and well-being of children and adolescents,” the Federal Police concluded.
