Pentagon Releases Secret Files on UFOs and Alien Life

The United States Department of War announced this Friday (8) the release of a series of previously undisclosed classified documents on unidentified aerial phenomena, popularly known as UFOs. The release followed a direct order from U.S. President Donald Trump.

“As promised, the Department of War has released the first batch of UFO/UAP files to the public for people to review and study. In an effort to achieve full and maximum transparency, I had the honor of instructing my administration to identify and make available government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena and unidentified flying objects. While previous administrations failed to be transparent on this issue, with these new documents and videos people can decide for themselves: ‘WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?’ Have fun and enjoy! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” Trump posted on social media.

According to the U.S. government, the initiative aims to increase transparency about records involving possible unidentified flying objects and phenomena considered anomalous. Files began appearing on an official Pentagon portal, enabling immediate public access without special authorization.

The released material includes videos, photographs, technical reports and documents produced by different U.S. government agencies. The initiative is part of the so-called Presidential System for Opening and Reporting Encounters, operating with White House authorization and oversight by NASA and the FBI.

According to the Pentagon, as reported by CNN Brasil, the release will be gradual. New batches of documents are expected every few weeks as records are located, reviewed and processed by the relevant authorities.

The disclosure follows Trump’s February order to publish federal documents related to alien life, unidentified aerial phenomena and unidentified flying objects. At that time, the U.S. president said he had instructed his government to release materials concerning “alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) and unidentified flying objects (UFOs).”

Despite the release of the records, the Defense Department said much of the material has not yet undergone thorough technical analysis. Officials emphasized that the documents were subjected to national security reviews before publication, but many recorded anomalies remain without a definitive explanation.

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said the measure seeks to promote an unprecedented level of transparency about the government’s knowledge of unidentified phenomena.

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman also commented on the initiative, saying the space agency will continue examining available data to deepen investigations. He said its commitment is to share future findings and expand scientific understanding of phenomena that remain unexplained.
