It is with great sadness that the BACC Travel team announces the passing of one of its longest and most loyal employees. Maria Isabel Maciel Propato passed away on March 17, 2025, due to heart complications.
Maria Isabel began working at the company in the 1990s. She was part of the Rio de Janeiro team at the time, serving as a travel operator for Orlatur Turismo. In an era when the internet was still in its infancy and tourism operated differently, Isabel took care of all the operational aspects of the agency in Brazil, being responsible for essential functions such as hotel reservations, transfers, and various other types of assistance to the company’s clients.
As time went by and the changes that the internet brought to the tourism industry unfolded, Isabel shifted her role, taking on other equally essential tasks in the administrative area.
A dear and generous colleague, Isabel dedicated more than 30 years of her professional life to tourism, always in a very professional and dedicated manner.
Isabel leaves behind three siblings and four-legged children.
