The nominees for the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) were announced on Tuesday (6), and Taylor Swift led among them.
Swift received ten nominations, mainly for the black-and-white music video of the single “Fortnight” from her album “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Her featured artist on this track, Post Malone, followed closely with nine nominations.
Other artists who received multiple nominations include Olivia Rodrigo, Lisa from Blackpink, Dua Lipa, Tyla, GloRilla, and Anitta.
Yes, the Brazilian received 3 nominations. Two for Best Latin Video (Mil Veces and Bellakeo) and one for Best Editing (Mil Veces). She is the only Brazilian nominated in 2024.
The VMAs will be broadcast live from UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, on September 10 at 8 PM ET/PT. Voting, open to the public until August 30, is available on the official VMA website.
