day and night and the
Parades and music fill the streets
A joyful dance a glorious day
Proud Brazilians and our
Voices unite in a soulful chorus
Celebrating the freedom that we all conquered and the
Fireworks light up the sky in
Brasília tonight and our
Hopes and dreams that
Fly high into the sky and
Each spark a reminder of what we cherish
The courage to resist and prosper
and love Brazil and cheer
And we will be together proud and strong
United in our blessed Brazil
With freedom as our guiding star and
On Independence Day near and far
So let us renew our promise with the heart
To good and true values
and let us stop and pray for our
Dear ones who fought for this
