Google Launches Bard, The ChatGPT Competitor, in Brazil – The Brasilians

The US tech giant, Google, launched its Artificial Intelligence tool, called ‘Bard’, in February, but it has only now arrived in Brazil.

The Google team rushed to catch up with rival Microsoft, which launched ChatGPT last year.

The AI tool can now be used in over 40 languages, including Arabic, Chinese, German, Hindi, Spanish, and of course, Portuguese. Previously, it was available in only three languages – English, Japanese, and Korean.

Google also announced new features, including receiving audio responses from Bard or responses in five different styles: simple, long, short, professional, or casual.

Another new feature allows users to upload photos that Bard can analyze for information.

To try out the tool, just go to bard.google.com using your computer or mobile browser. Then, simply type a command and explore the myriad of topics that Bard can assist you with.

When searching for information, you will find, alongside Bard’s response, a button directing you to Google Search, where you can independently complement your research from a new browser tab.
