FII Institute to Host First Latin American Summit in Rio de Janeiro – The Brasilians

The FII Institute announced its first FII PRIORITY Latin American summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. With the theme ‘Invest in Dignity’, the summit will take place from June 11 to 13, 2024, at the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro. The summit is part of the FII PRIORITY program, an annual series of summits, reports, and initiatives designed to address the world’s greatest challenges and concerns.

The FII Institute is a global nonprofit foundation focused on impactful solutions in AI and robotics, education, health, and sustainability. With a data-driven approach combined with an innovative investment arm, the Institute has been at the forefront of promoting transformative change and global collaboration.

The FII PRIORITY Rio promises to be a pivotal platform for global leaders, government officials, investors, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and members of the FII Institute. Through its deliberations, delegates and speakers will address ways in which ecological transition, technology and innovation, and social inclusion can build a new world order that prioritizes dignity for all.

Richard Attias, CEO and board member of the FII Institute, highlights the importance of the summit, stating: “Countries like Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia are currently hotspots for startups, investments, and culture. As the future host of the G20 Summit, Rio de Janeiro’s historical and current influence in finance, culture, and sports is being brought to the global stage. By bringing together some of the brightest minds from various sectors, our focus will be on responsible decision-making in investments and economic growth. This summit marks a pivotal moment in shaping a sustainable and technologically advanced future for all.”

A key goal of the summit is to connect Latin America to global investment markets. The funding gaps in Latin America in capital commitments to ideas, innovations, and technologies present significant opportunities for high-yield investments and remarkable growth. Brazil, with its strategic natural resources and economic leadership on the continent, is driving sustainable growth opportunities and leadership in critical climate actions, both of which are high-priority items on the FII PRIORITY Rio agenda.
