The new series at the Sheen Center, Jazz on Bleecker Street, concludes the season with Elegantly Brazilian and the Requinte Trio (and Band), featuring Janis Siegel, renowned vocalist and founding member of the brilliant vocal ensemble The Manhattan Transfer, Nanny Assis, the extremely talented percussionist/vocalist/songwriter native to Salvador, Bahia, and John di Martino, one of the most sought-after jazz pianists on the scene.
They unite the musicality born from their diverse cultures and musical experiences, creating a soulful fusion of immense talent.
