Lionel Messi and Los Albiceleste navigated to the final with minimal effort by defeating Canada 2-0 in the semifinals and are now looking to win their third consecutive major international tournament. Lautaro Martinez and Julian Alvarez are leading the way for Argentina whenever they are called to support Messi in attack. The main reason Argentina has won so many titles in recent years is their solid defensive unit.
No injury or suspension concerns for Argentina, and they should play exactly the same way they did against Canada.
Colombia has been the offensive powerhouse of this tournament but showed a different side in their game by defeating Uruguay 1-0 in the semifinal, despite playing more than half the match with one man down when Daniel Munoz of Crystal Palace was sent off. Los Cafeteros are on an incredible 28-match unbeaten streak, with James Rodriguez and Luis Diaz pulling the strings in attack. They have a real advantage and will make life very difficult for Argentina. This is only the third time in history that Colombia has reached the Copa América final.
Munoz is suspended for the final, so Colombia will make a change at right back, with Santiago Arias likely stepping in.How to watch Argentina vs. Colombia?
