President Michel Temer and US Vice President Mike Pence (photo) spoke by phone about how to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. Job creation and stimulating economic growth were the main topics discussed between the two leaders.
Both also highlighted the importance of shared values between the United States and Brazil, including respect for democratic institutions and the rule of law, as well as a commitment to security in the Western Hemisphere.
US Vice President Pence and Temer agreed to maintain close contact aimed at advancing the two countries’ shared vision of a stable and prosperous hemisphere.
