Supporters of Israel and Pro-Palestinian Protesters Exchange Threats in NY

Pro-Palestinian protesters and supporters of Israel clashed for the second consecutive day in Manhattan on Monday (9), exchanging threats such as “We have to kill them all!” or “They all need to die now!”

As Israel continues to attack the Gaza Strip in retaliation for the devastating and deadly weekend attacks against the Jewish state perpetrated by Hamas terrorists, hundreds of protesters from both sides of the emerging war confronted each other in front of the Israeli Consulate, just a block west of the United Nations headquarters in Midtown.

“We have to kill them all! We will kill them all! You better get out of our country! You better get out of there!” a Palestinian supporter shouted.

The rhetoric was countered by supporters of Israel, who called the protesters “terrorists.”

“They all need to die now!” a pro-Israel protester shouted at the Palestinian supporters. “We need to protect the Jews here in America!”

Another man said he believes Hamas is simply defending Palestine occupied by Israel, insisting: “Retaliating is not terrorism.”

“They are not just occupying. They are controlling, they are killing. They are destroying schools. They are filling wells with cement,” he said about Israel. “They have every right to retaliate,” he added about Hamas while holding a sign that read: “End aid to racist Israel.”

On the other hand, a Jewish resident said: “We cannot afford to be spectators. They are bombing our land. They have kidnapped our people. They are torturing our people. They have invaded our homes. They are dragging our women through the streets. They are snatching children right from their mothers’ arms,” she said. “There is nothing pro-Palestinian about this,” she added about Hamas, “They are terrorists.”

The city police were present, but no arrests were reported.
