It seems easy to answer the question when the term well-being refers only to a healthy life. But this set of practices starts from nutrition and goes all the way to interpersonal relationships, as well as stress management.
Being “well” is not so difficult if you add the word “discipline” to your routine.
The term “well-being” first appeared in the 16th century to exemplify the satisfaction of physical needs; by the 18th century, it referred to material conditions.
Physical Well-Being: It is the condition of the body, the absence of diseases associated with good metabolic functioning. It is to have health!
Social Well-Being: More commonly known as “quality of life,” it is used to complement the well-being of a society that highlights monetary wealth, access to goods and services, but also considers your degree of freedom, pleasure, and environmental health. It is to be recognized!
Mental Well-Being: It is the emotional balance between your internal and external experiences; in other words, it is being well with yourself and others, accepting the variations of life, responding positively to different types of emotions, living life to its fullest, and respecting others without judgment. It is to be balanced!
As soon as you implement discipline into your well-being routine, everything becomes simpler and more productive. With discipline, time, and dedication, you will find the resources and paths to do everything you desire with a sense of satisfaction and duty fulfilled at the end of the day.
Simplify to be happy!
