The all-female Afro-Brazilian group Fogo Azul takes the stage with Adriana Portela, a percussionist and Bahian leader who challenged gender norms and led Brazil’s first all-female Afro block with her group Banda Dida. The project explores the relationship between humans and mangroves, unifying and integrating humanity with this biome.
