Another event celebrating Brazilian literature will take place in New York with “Words in Motion,” bringing together three prominent names in Brazilian cultural production: writer and artist Alana Rosa, writer Magda Medeiros and author Wilson Loria. The event, organized by the Brazilian Library of New York (Brazilian Endowment for the Arts), will give attendees an opportunity to discover the authors’ works, their careers and the stories behind their books.
Works to be presented include “A Dupla Ausência” by Magda Medeiros, “A Suportável Doce Quarentena” by Wilson Loria and “Terapias Integrativas – Saúde em Nossas Mãos,” featuring the participation of Alana Rosa.
From different perspectives, the books invite reflection on human experiences, health, memory and the challenges of contemporary life.
More than a literary presentation, “Words in Motion” offers a meeting place for authors, readers and New York’s Brazilian community, celebrating literature as a space for expression, dialogue and the preservation of cultural ties with Brazil.
