You may have heard that we are in this world to learn. But learn what?
The human being is pure energy, and energy does not require physical matter to exist. So, if we, who are pure energy, find ourselves on Earth with a physical body and dependent on material things to live, it is certainly because we need to learn to deal with matter.
Before that, however, it is necessary to believe in the power of the invisible, for energy is invisible. Electric energy, for example, has countless manifestations, but no physical matter. And you do not doubt that it exists.
It is also important to understand that energy has more power than matter. While there is no energy acting on a stone, for example, it is just a stone. It will only be able to reach the waters of a lake if you throw it in.
There is a significant metaphysical (transpersonal and spiritual) component in prosperity. It is no coincidence that the Bible is the most prosperous book known. In addition to being the most read book in the world, a publishing phenomenon, which alone makes it a reference of success, the Bible also contains more than 600 quotes about prosperity. To illustrate this metaphysical component, nothing better than Christ’s first miracle: the transformation of water into wine by his divine intention and thought.
Can the mind control matter?
Yes, the mind can control matter, but caution is needed. Sometimes, you may think you are dealing with some metaphysical aspect of your being, when in fact you are just facing some distorted presentation of reality that can create an illusion of power in you and give you false expectations about your potential. Walking on hot coals is an example of this. The contrast of the incandescent sparks and the heat of the coals with the dark, and if you have walked on coals, do not think you will be able to withstand high temperatures with the same technique. You walked on coals from burning wood, where there were no flames, but smoke, and the dehydrated wood has relatively low heat content and minimal conductivity.
The conductivity of heat is relative to the physical properties of materials. That is why, on a cold night, you feel colder if you walk barefoot on a tiled floor than on a wooden floor.
Walking on smoldering wood coals at night, although it may seem spectacular, is not mind control over matter. It is just the manifestation of a physical law. On Saint John’s night, during the famous June festivals in the countryside, it is customary for the local people to walk on coals without any prior training. Just obeying the laws of physics.
This does not invalidate the psychological effect caused by the act of walking on coals. If well conducted, this metaphor can promote a change of beliefs in the person, leading them to believe more in their own potential and in their ability to overcome obstacles that stand in the way of their goals.
