The Postal Service has launched a special issuance titled Conscious Consumption of Water and Electric Energy. The goal is to raise awareness about the importance of responsible use of these resources, encouraging sustainable practices in daily actions. This issuance had the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Mines and Energy as partners of the Postal Service for the realization of the project.
The two stamps that make up the issuance feature designs depicting scenes aimed at rationalizing the consumption of water and electric energy, with tips for saving such as brushing teeth with the tap closed and turning off lights in empty rooms.
The images were created by Ariadne and Meik, who used photography and illustration, finalized with the use of computer graphics. The print run is 480,000 stamps, priced at R$ 2.10 each, which can be purchased at Postal Service agencies, in the online store correios.com.br/correiosonline, and at the Distance Sales Center centralvendas@correios.com.br.
