Two of the leading musical groups of the 1980s will perform in several North American cities.
The British band Tears For Fears and the American duo Hall & Oates announced a tour across various North American cities between May and July 2017.

The series of shows begins on May 4 in Tulsa and will conclude on July 28 in Los Angeles.
Musicians Daryl Hall and John Oates started their artistic careers in the 70s as a versatile duo where their compositions always traversed various genres such as pop, rock, R&B, jazz, and Blue-Eyed Soul. They have sold over 40 million records worldwide and collected a series of major hits like Kiss On My List, Private Eyes, I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do), Out of Touch, and Maneater.
They have won 6 gold records in the U.S. and received significant honors such as the nomination to the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2003, induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last September, and entry into VH1’s list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

Tears For Fears was formed in 1981 in England by musicians Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, after they ended the activities of the band Graduate. They gained notoriety with their debut album The Hurting, presenting a new musical proposal, with a lot of personality in their compositions, both in lyrics and in the elements used in their songs. But international success came with the album Songs From The Big Chair in 1985.
They recorded six albums between 1983 and 2004 with significant changes in their lineup: Smith, the bassist and founding member of the band, did not participate in the albums Elemental (1993) and Raoul and the Kings Of Spain (1995), but returned in Everybody Loves a Happy Ending (2004).
Among the major hits of Tears For Fears are: Mad World, Pale Shelter, Change, Shout, Everybody Wants To Rule The World, Head Over Heels, Woman In Chains, Sowing The Seeds Of Love, Advice For The Young At Heart, and Break It Down Again.
They have sold over 30 million copies worldwide and are preparing to release a new album soon.
