A group of 30 Brazilian entrepreneurs was officially welcomed at the Brazilian Embassy in Washington, USA, by Diplomat and Investment Secretary Ricardo Daskal and Ambassador Sergio Silva do Amaral. The same group met with Carla Grasso, Deputy Managing Director of the IMF. They later visited the IFC – International Finance Corporation (the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in developing countries and a member of the World Bank Group)
to discuss sector investments, especially startups.
Some of the entrepreneurs present at the Washington meeting included Mario Yamasaki (serial entrepreneur and UFC referee), Christian Barbosa (author of the best-seller Tríade do Tempo and founder of Triad Productivity Solutions), Guilherme Lugano (founder and CEO of Chocolates Lugano), Jonathan Freitas (Winner of the Young Brazilian Award), Chico Brito (former mayor of Embu da Artes), and Lima dos Santos (angel investor in 70 startups).
These meetings are part of the Mastermind Influence Program, conducted by mentor and entrepreneur Rafa Prado, which aims to connect high-level Brazilian entrepreneurs with the biggest business players in the world.
The group also made an official visit to the White House and included guest executives for experience sharing, such as serial entrepreneur Ricardo Bellino – who brought Elite Models to Brazil, in addition to launching the campaign
“Breast Cancer in the Fashion Spotlight” and American investor Kevin Harrington, one of the original Shark Tanks in the USA.
According to Rafa, this meeting represents an important connection between major Brazilian entrepreneurs, the United States, government, and embassy. Consequently, new business opportunities are expected to arise among the participants.
Rafa Prado has previously conducted other programs around the world with important executives, such as Carlos Wizard Martins in Orlando, USA, Ricardo Bellino in Barcelona, and now advances
to a new Mastermind model called “Influence.” Participants in the Mastermind Influence include Brazilian entrepreneurs from the agribusiness, construction, and technology sectors, as well as business influencers (like YouTuber Pyong Lee) and leaders of high-potential startups, such as João Pedro (from Hotmart, named by Forbes USA as one of the most promising CEOs in the world).
