The National Agency for Waterway Transportation (Antaq) published two auction notices for the leasing of port areas and public infrastructure. The auctions scheduled for September 28 in São Paulo refer to the port of Santana (Amapá) and Santos (São Paulo).
In total, the leases foresee investments of R$ 249 million over 25 years of contract. In Amapá, the bidding concerns public infrastructure for the handling and storage of solid bulk materials of plant origin, especially wood chips. In the Port of Santos, the auction refers to the handling and storage of liquid fuel bulk materials.
