Public and private schools across Brazil have until April 15 to respond to a questionnaire regarding the number of cases of pregnancy among school-aged adolescents, available in the Educacenso System exclusively for the school profile.
The questionnaire must be answered by school managers or professionals designated by the institutions, who should only consider cases of pregnancy in adolescents aged 10 to 19 recorded in 2018. It will not be necessary to identify the pregnant individual.
Developed jointly by the Ministries of Education and Health, through the School Health Program, the initiative aims to map the number of cases of early pregnancy to support the creation of public policies for comprehensive care for pregnant adolescents.
