The nominations for the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) were announced on Tuesday (6), and Taylor Swift leads among the nominees.
Swift received ten nominations, mainly for her black-and-white music video for the single “Fortnight” from her album “The Tortured Poets Department”.
In second place among the most nominated is Post Malone, sharing nine of the 10 nominations with Swift for their collaboration on Fortnight.
Other artists who received multiple nominations include Olivia Rodrigo, Lisa from Blackpink, Dua Lipa, Tyla, GloRilla, and Anitta.
Yes, the Brazilian received 3 nominations. Two for Best Latin Video (Mil Veces and Bellakeo) and one for Best Editing (Mil Veces). She is the only Brazilian in the running.
The VMA will be broadcast live from UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, on September 10 at 8 PM ET/PT. Voting, open to the public until August 30, is available on the official VMA website.
