In International Women’s Month, an international group exhibition featuring works by women from around the world arrives in New York. Created by visual artist and curator Leda Maria, “Women In Art” is on display at the Jadite Gallery, 662 10th Avenue between 46th and 47th Streets, New York, NY 10036 from March 7 to 16.
A Brazilian journalist and photographer based in New York, Marisa Abel, is part of the group. Her photographic exhibition titled “The Essence of Travel” invites the public to join her on a visual journey through the landscapes and cities she has had the privilege to visit.
Marisa Abel is a professional with over 20 years of expertise in photography and journalism. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, she holds a degree in Journalism from PUC-Campinas and has pursued additional studies in photography at the Art Institute of Unicamp and Techimage in São Paulo.
With a deep passion for photography, Marisa strives to document and preserve unforgettable moments, seamlessly integrating her journalistic background to tell captivating visual stories. She has won 23 awards throughout her career, including several in photography, and has exhibited her work in prestigious locations such as London, Milan, and NYC.
