In parallel, at the Javits Center, Curve took place, a fair for women’s and men’s lingerie. The companies Mari M and Plié brought their collections to the fair, which hosts various American and European buyers. Mari M has several participations under its belt and is a constant presence at the event, betting on Curve to expand its market in the United States. Plié is participating for the first time with the support of the Program.
“Brazilian lingerie has many differentiators in design, prints, and styles. There is a lot of potential in the North American market, and Curve presents a great opportunity for brands to stand out in the region,” commented Lilian.
The Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Internationalization Program (Texbrasil) works alongside companies in the textile and clothing sector, developing strategies to conquer the global market. In over 20 years, it has helped around 1,600 brands enter the export market, generating $9 billion in business. The Program is carried out through a partnership between Abit and the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (ApexBrasil).
