Sérgio Pereira releases his new album ‘Finesse’, which has already won 3 Global Music Awards for Best Brazilian/Latin Jazz, Album, and New Release.
‘Finesse’ (Sedajazz Records) was recorded remotely, bringing a fusion of Brazilian jazz performed by some of the brightest musicians. According to Sergio, 
“the album is a triumph over the adversities of the pandemic and conveys a positive and inspiring message in these challenging times.”
Mostly original compositions, ‘Finesse’ was co-produced by drummer/producer Mauricio Zottarelli. It features a mix of Brazilian rhythms such as Samba, Bossa, Xote, and plenty of jazz. The musicians include Brazilian singer Filo Machado, harmonica master Gabriel Grossi, bassist Mark Egan, Paulo Paulelli, and Andre Vasconcellos, pianists Helio Alves, Vitor Goncalves, and Matt King, vibraphonist Christos Rafalides, saxophonists Ralph Moore, David Mann, and Rodrigo Ursaia, trumpeter Rubinho Antunes, and singer Paula Santoro.
