apArt Private Gallery opened its doors in New York with the first Solo Art Exhibition “Terebintina” by Brazilian artist Marcello Serpa on October 5, 2017, in the Upper East Side, Manhattan.
apArt is a private space where, through appointments, guests can appreciate, buy, or rent fine art, as well as meet and converse with the emerging artists and designers exhibited at apArt.
Founded in São Paulo, Brazil, by Thais Marin and her husband, artist Leo Macias, apArt is inspired by the initiative of German collector Christian Boros to transform a bunker in Berlin into an art gallery, where he also lived. The great experience provided by apArt is its ability to allow art and its creator to connect with those who appreciate it.
Focusing on trends, apArt Private Gallery hosts artists from around the world who can live in a creative environment and draw inspiration to develop their work, which will later be exhibited in a show. Additionally, apArt focuses on people who are not art collectors, educating them on how to buy art and become collectors.

The private space in the Upper East Side boasts over 4,000 square feet of event space and will host the first solo exhibition of Brazilian artist Marcello Serpa until December 5, 2017.
