Anitta Will Perform At Copacabana New Year’s Eve

In the next few weeks Rio’s City Mayor will detail other singers to perfom on 13 stages around the city.

On New Year’s Eve this 2025, Copacabana will receive 20 sound towers and two stages: Rio (in front of Copacabana Palace Hotel), to celebrate the diversity of Brazilian music, and “Pra Sambar”. the fireworks show, lasting 12 minutes, will feature ten ferries in Copacabana and another three on Flamengo’s beach.

It is worth highlighting that fireworks are also scheduled for other neighborhoods, such as Barra da Tijuca and Recreio dos Bandeirantes, but at the top of hotels, not on the beach.

The other places where stages are planned to celebrate the arrival of 2025 are: Praia do Flamengo, Praia de Ramos, Parque Madureira, Ilha do Governador, Ilha de Paquetá, Bangu, Inhoaíba, Praia de Sepetiba and Barra de Guaratiba.

Last year, there were 12 stages and 12 ferries spread across the city with a fireworks display that brought together five million people, being 2,5 million only on the edge of Copacabana – besides 30 thousand people in seven cruise ships. The economic movement was R$ 3 billion.
