Brasil Summerfest 2023: Feel the rhythm of Brazil without ever leaving New York”

Brasil Summerfest is back to NYC this summer from July 2-15 with a superb selection of some of Brazil’s most dynamic that the public come to expect at every festival. This year’s headlining show will be a rare free performance by legendary Brazilian vocalist and four-time Latin Grammy winner Marisa Monte, who will take the stage at Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage in Central Park on July 2 to thrill fans with her hybrid blend of MPB, samba and pop rock.

Performances across NYC will include Rio de Janeiro singer/songwriter Duda Beat, the breakout artist praised for her upbeat energy and clever lyrics, performing at Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center on July 9. Also on July 9 will be a Brazilian Party Classics Silent Disco with music connoisseur DJ Greg Caz at the main plaza. The dance party at Nublu on July 7 with Mulú andTietta is one not to miss! Emerging artist Luciane Dom, whose music is rooted in Afro Brazilian identity, will also perform at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center on July 13.

Brooklyn performances will include iconic local Brazilian band Forro in the Dark, featuring Davi Vieira, Mauro Refosco and Guilherme Monteiro, who will be returning to the Brooklyn Public Library on July 5 with a free outdoor show; and Brazilian indie pop darling Zabelê from Rio de Janeiro, who will take the stage at Live at The Archwy in DUMBO on July 12.
