BRAFF Miami is an official event of the Cities of Miami and Miami Beach. The Festival’s first edition 23 years ago, overlapped with the resumption of Brazilian cinema in the 90’s. Since the first edition, Brazilian Film Festival of Miami has been a showcase for training, reflection, promotion, cultural exchange, diversity, political and sectoral articulation and artistic recognition. In addition, BRAFF Miami provides a business environment with extraordinary economic potential for the Brazilian audiovisual production.
The 23rd Brazilian Film Festival of Miami takes place from September 14th to 21st in the following locations:
• September 14th:
TBC The Opening Night will feature DJ and fashion show followed by the screening.
• September 15th – 17th:
Miami Beach Cinematheque
Documentary Screenings Series.
• September 19th:
Florida International University University Series.
• September 18th – 21st:
– Regal South Beach 18
Competitive Screenings – New releases from Brazil competing for the Crystal Lens award for best film chosen by the public.
